Why do yo think NEO's talent didn't translate to CSGO that well? Almost feels like a professor playing the game - using map geometry to their advantage, surprising the enemy from very rare angles, killing enemies from behind etc. Get_Right/Potti were more methodical in they gameplay. No other 1.6 player did so many micro adjustment to his caracter model every other second of the game.į0rest had better burst-aim with rifles and USP bullet accuracy, but he was not that good at micros. It seemed like he had insane talent of just using fast movement sync with his mouse and keyboard (like Messi has talent with dribbling) - it was all natural for Neo. Removing name tags and watching demos of Neo, f0rest, Gux, Get_Right, Markeloff and many other great pro players you can totally know when you are witnessing Neo play. Had tons of shooting techniques with rifles (shooting while running/crazy spray control/ one-taps/bursts - you name it), was amazing secondary AWPer - similar to Olofmeister in 2015, also one of the greatest pistol players ever - especially with glock and deagle. In 1.6 Neo was absolute master of every facet of the game, he had the best movement of any pro player (maybe Edward from Navi came close), he was insanely proactive and reactive player. Curious case is what happened to Neo in his transition to CSGO.
